LIFT Film Festival 2006

The 2nd Derby International LIFT Film Festival 2006. This years festival
has been extended to an eight-day programme, which includes a dynamic array of films, presentations, workshops and events, all focused on three themes:

1. Sound and Music.
2. Local to Global.
3. Science, Technology & Heritage.

LIFT [Learning Innovation Film Talent] is a festival which celebrates the distinctive creative media edge that Derby has to offer. The festival provides an excellent opportunity to exhibit local film talent and is jam-packed with activities covering a variety of tastes. One of the major highlights is the world premier of “Ghosts in the Machine,” which has been commissioned and produced by Rolls-Royce.
